From June to September 2025, Zhengsai Technology undertook a scientific and technological research task for the Taklamakan Desert Edge-Locking Project in southern Xinjiang — the collaborative treatment of severely saline-alkali land using brackish water improvement. The local annual rainfall is merely 30 mm, while the evaporation rate reaches 3,000 mm. The region features harsh climatic conditions including high summer temperatures and perennial strong winds.

Before the management of the Taklamakan Desert
Over the course of 114 days, Zhengsai Technology transformed the barren land that had not grown grain or forage grass for thousands of years into grasslands and fertile farmland. After completing the mission, all personnel withdrew from the site in September 2025, leaving the base in an unattended natural state.

Six months later, on March 24, 2026, the team re-entered the site and discovered that the wheat was still alive. Digging into the sandy soil, they found that the sand 10 centimeters below the surface remained moist — its water retention capacity exceeded all expectations.

This fact proves that Zhengsai Technology has once again created a miracle in the application of desertification control. It is of great significance for solving the food and water supply problems of people in extremely arid regions.
